Mia’s my best friend.
We’ve been inseparable since she moved next door when we were six years old. Then it all changed.
I don’t know when or why, but suddenly I want more. I want her. The problem was she didn’t.
But everything changes when you cross that line between friends and lovers.
I thought convincing her to give us a chance would be my biggest hurdle. Little did I know that was only the beginning.
Mia consumes all of my thoughts when we’re apart, and all of my senses when we’re together. There’s no going back to the way things were and I’ll do whatever it takes to make sure she isn’t just my first, but also my last.
Will we be able to hold on, or will our relationship go up in flames?
She’s been his best friend since they were six years old. Mia has been by Blake’s side through the good and the bad. He never expected the obstacles they’d face once they crossed that line. The line between best friends and lovers.
This book was more than I could have ever imagined. This isn’t you’re typical “friends to lovers” story. First and Last is captivating and filled with so much emotion. Rachael Duncan did an amazing job writing this book. I love how the chapters switch between the past and the present, showing how Blake and Mia’s relationship developed. There was so much depth to Mia and Blake. Even though the entire book is in Blake’s POV, you could still feel how strongly Mia felt for him. There was never any doubt to how much they cared for each other even when they were faced with challenges that put strain on their relationship. I also loved how they supported one another as they grew together. First and Last is just one of those books that you have a hard time putting down. This might be my favorite book from Rachael Duncan so far.
