Booth was the love of Masen’s life but it only took one misunderstanding for her to break his heart and hers in the process. Now he’s back home after having gone through multiple deployments but he didn’t come alone. Booth is married and even though Masen is in a relationship, it doesn’t take her long to realize that she’s still in love with him.
Wow, I don’t even know where to begin. There’s so much that I loved about this book. Flash Point was just an all around great read that had me wanting more and more. I was so excited to read Masen and Booth’s story after the way Shock Advised ended. There’s plenty of humor to balance out the more heartfelt moments. I liked how Lani shared the memories from Masen and Booth’s past. It was a nice addition to the story. The best part for me was that even though they weren’t together they were still committed to their love and to each other. The love that they shared truly shined through no matter what they were faced with, even when it was just their own stubbornness that got in the way.
