This was my first time reading Tia Louise and I definitely plan to go back and read other books from her. I really enjoyed her writing style. There was just enough depth to the characters and plenty of action that kept me reading. I loved Logan. Even when his feelings for Kass seemed to cloud his judgement he still remained loyal to his job. Kass didn’t exactly make the best decisions but I liked how she tried to make a way out of no way. She didn’t give up when things got tough, she did what she had to do to take care of her family. Overall, I really liked the plot. It’s fast paced and engaging for the most part. There were a couple of parts to the story that pertained to Kass that just didn’t seem very realistic at times. I wasn’t 100% sold on her situation and ended up just taking it at face value. I think the timing of when we received some of the details was different, it would have been more believable.
