My Review: I was really looking forward to reading The Kiss. Unfortunately, it fell short for me. Yes, at moments I found myself chuckling because there were some humorous moments. I also did like the dynamic between Leo, Mia and the other boys. There were moments between Leo and Mia that I thought were sweet. Leo seriously put a lot of thought into the things that he did for her and I truly appreciated that about him. That said, the story read like a summary to me. I felt like it lacked the depth that I expect from M Robinson books. I struggled to connect with these characters and the story as a whole. It just felt very thrown together and rushed. I feel like this story had a lot of potential but sadly it didn’t hit the mark for me.
