3 breaths. That’s all it took for Krane’s life to turn upside down. As he watched his fiance die in his arms, he knew nothing was going to be the same. He’s just surviving until her. With her, he lives.

From the prologue, I just knew that I was going to get hooked. You could feel the love that Krane had for Zoe and how he really struggled after he lost her. The story flowed well from start to finish and I really enjoyed the subject matter. The book was from Krane’s POV so it made it hard to connect with Ivy in the sense of her feelings for Krane. It seemed a bit forced. Though, I really admired the support they showed one another through their time of lost. That they were able to find solace in each other I’m order to heal from the pain that losing a loved one would cause.
