My Review

This book is EVERYTHING! I was so engrossed in it that before I knew it I was over half way through Trae and Courtney’s story. Trae is hot. There’s no denying it. That mouth of his was absolutely filthy but I LOVED it! Courtney is privileged and at times it got frustrating but I did appreciate the fact that she made an attempt to stand on her own two feet even if she needed some help along the way. Her mother is freaking crazy, that is all. Christa! Omg, Christa had me in tears from the crap that came out of her mouth. She stole the show at times for me. Even though there were some serious moments (and I admire MJ for bringing awareness to those topics), Offensive Rebound had me laughing from the very beginning. There was never a dull moment and I could not put this book down. MJ Fields never fails to write an all around entertaining read that keeps you engaged from start to finish.

“You still afraid of me?” Courtney asks. I push her hair out of her face. “No.” “I’m afraid of you.” “No beer muscles tonight?” I ask, glancing at her empty glasses. She shakes her head. I scoot in closer to her. “Tell me what you’re afraid of.” “Liking you too much,” she says then takes a drink. I turn her in her seat so she’s facing me. “You’re gonna like me even more when I’m inside you.” Her body grows taut. “You can’t say stuff like that. It makes me uncomfortable.” “Well, now I’m going to have to do it more often to get you used to it; make you crave it, beg for it.”

USA Today bestselling author MJ Fields love of writing was in full swing by age eight.
