My Review:
This book is amazing yet it broke my heart. It’s beautifully written and full of love and heartache. MJ Fields had my emotions all over the place. Just when I thought I knew how the story was going to play out, I was thrown in a completely different direction. I was able to connect with Ava on so many levels. At first I thought she was just really naive. It really irritated me that she let certain people take advantage of her heart but then she finally blossomed. She truly grows throughout the book as she learns her truths and finds the unconditional love that she has always been hoping for. I love that this wasn’t your typical romance novel with a conventional ending. Ava’s story is uniquely hers and so different from any other books that I’ve read from MJ. There was no holding back the tears with this one.
