My Review:
Transfer picks up where Retrieval left off and I was not disappointed. As with book one, the build up was intense and kept me wanting more. There were a few twists though the DNA results didn’t surprise me one bit. You can’t deny the connection between Heath and Clare. I loved how Heath did everything possible in order to take care of Clare, no matter what it cost him. I thought that some of Clare’s choices were questionable. I like that she got redemption but the way that she got that redemption just seemed too easy. The build up was so good up to that point that I just expected that part of the story to be explosive. I wanted a bit more for that portion of the book. I also liked the way that the story ended, but deep down I can’t help but want a different outcome for Tessa. Aside from that I really enjoyed this duet. Aly Martinez did an amazing job writing these two stories and I look forward to her next book!
