My Review:

And the plot thickens!!!! I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book and once I started I couldn’t put it down. Skye Warren really draws you into the plot. I was so engrossed that I was over half way through before I even realized it. I was hoping things would get better for Avery in this installment but situations never seemed to go her way. Everything just got worse and worse no matter how hard she fought. I’m glad we go to see “softer” side to Gabriel. He’s still ruthless but I felt like he opened up a lot more when it came to Avery in The Knight. The connection between them is still as strong as it was in The Pawn even with the added tension and somewhat lack of trust. The plot was engaging and fast paced. There were a few twists which left with even more questions. I can’t wait until the next installment is released!
