New York Times best selling author, Tatum Longley, is being forced out of her comfort zone. Her publisher needs her to change from hard hitting nonfiction to romance writing. But first she must find a muse. Angelo has no desire to form relationships with anyone around him. But when a very persistent Tatum makes him an offer that nearly knocks this six foot five, long haired, tattooed, dangerous looking man, on his ass. Will he be able to resist the temptation, or will be allow her to use him.
***This is a full length stand alone romance. Although a spinoff book from the Caldwell Brothers Series, it is not necessary to read any other books before this one, but it is recommended.***
I was really excited to read Angelo’s book. He’s way more than what meets the eye. He struggles with this past throughout the book and at times it was frustrating to see how he pushed people away. He didn’t start to truly let anyone in until Tatum and I loved how their story unfolded. I struggled to connect with Tatum for most of the book. I just didn’t feel her part of the story as deeply as Angelo’s even though she was struggling to let go of her past as well. Overall though, I really enjoyed the plot. It was also great to get glimpses of the Caldwell brothers and Jared, of course! You can’t forget about Jared who had me in tears as usual. I can’t wait to read the next book that MJ Fields and Chelsea Cameron releases next.
